Who is Sarah Intrieri?
All About Me
Thank you for taking the time to know a little bit more about who I am! I am 25 years old and a recent graduate (July 2024) with an MA degree in Film and Television Production from MetFilm School in London, UK. In 2021 I received my Bachelor's from Loyola Marymount University with a B.A. in English where I also minored in Film, TV, and Media studies.
Ever since I could remember, I've always been fascinated by how people are able to express themselves through Photography, Film, and Music. I started to set a goal of becoming a filmmaker around my middle school years once my friend and I would make random videos using iMovie. After going through the process several times of coming up with an idea, planning it out, shooting it, editing it, and then laughing when we watched it all back, I knew filmmaking was special. Since then, I've aspired to be a part of the entertainment industry. And so, High School was where I began doing more of what I love. I attended filmmaking camps at Stanford during my Freshman and Sophomore years and then, in my last two years, I took Art of Video classes (Senior year being advanced). I was able to make a handful of films during my high school career. After high school, I briefly attended the University of San Francisco for my freshman year of college. During that first year, I became a short-term member of USFtv, where I freelanced and worked as a sound mixer for a few projects. On the side, I also worked on a couple of my peer's student shorts, assisting in any facet they needed. I learned a lot in that first year, however, I knew from the start that Los Angeles was where I wanted to be. So I decided to transfer to Loyola Marymount University. Although I wasn't in the film production program at LMU, my passion still aligned with that field throughout my entire education. Therefore, during my time at LMU, I had the opportunity to work on several graduate student film sets, mainly as a Script Supervisor, while getting educated in the liberal arts simultaneously. I've continued to Script Supervise on several short films since. I'm so grateful that I was able to be a part of several projects during my Undergrad experience, working alongside many extraordinary people.
After I graduated from LMU during COVID, I worked in Los Angeles for about a year, helping on various projects as a Production Assistant and Script Supervisor. As work was very touch and go, I decided to make a big move. I chose to go back to school to get my Master's in Film and TV Production. Leading me to move to a completely new country without knowing a single soul. This was the best decision I could have ever made. I met so many wonderful people and had the chance to challenge myself in one of the most exciting cities in the world. I learned so much about myself and made lifelong friends/connections. During my studies, I confirmed within myself that I love to write, edit, and film BTS. I still love to Script Supervise, however, I am actively pursuing work in the other positions I also thrive in.
In the near future, I hope to keep growing within the film production field as well as make more films of my own that will help me learn and grow as an artist. I love working on productions, small or large, so don't hesitate to reach out!
